Had the Scottish Breakfast before heading off on the Cape Wrath trail - it was delicious and an excellent way to start. Thanks Lochaber Cafe!

Hidden gem adjacent to train station. Had the full Scottish breakfast which included toast & either fried or scrambled egg, hot drink was extra but all still worth every penny. Order taken & served within 5 mins. For all the fussy people, they even serve beans separately as standard. Tea was a delight, made with real tea leaves in a teapot & a pot of hot water on the side. Equated to 3 cups of tea. Definitely worth a visit, even the views are spectacular!

Lovely little cafe situated within the train station. We were staying locally in self-catering accommodation, and wanted a substantial breakfast prior to climbing Ben Nevis. After reading reviews we decided to eat here. Not a lot of vegetarian options, but you’re sure to find something suitable; I had the breakfast roll with potato scone & egg. Service was quick, the food was good, and the coffee wasn’t bad either! The staff were really lovely too. I also picked up some snacks for the climb from here, and I can honestly say that their cheese and pickle roll at the top of Ben Nevis was the best I’ve ever had!

Fabulous, delicious everything which are pastries, especially strawberry sponge with creme layer and coconut on strawberry outside asian photo. Order at counter but then table service with plentiful tables. Service is friendly family and friends. I had battered fresh haddock with chips and green salad. Nicely thick piece of haddock with crunchy batter. Generous size of my cappuccino and macchiato.

Cafe food but very nice and the staff are very friendly, oh ,and it's dog friendly, they even gave my dogs some free sausages

A very nice place for breakfast in Fort William railway station. The staff are pleasant. The menu is as you'd expect: filled rolls, light bites and sweet treats and the views are spectacular.

Had a tuna toastie and a haggis baked potato with side of mushrooms and a sausage roll. Cheap prices! You can also get a packaged lunch here for 6.5 pounds which is good for hiking days. Each main came with coleslaw and salad which was great and make it extra filling. One toastie was around 3 or 4 pounds, very cheap. The haggis was super good and some of the best I've had in Scotland so far.

Proper breakfast, great value too. Very friendly and welcoming staff. 100% recommend.
